Court Enforcement Services Welcomes Update on Best Practice for High Court Enforcement Officers
Court Enforcement Services is delighted to see the updated Best Practice issued by the High Court Enforcement Officers Association in light of the recent judgement in relation to taking control of goods by way of a video call.
We are pleased to see it confirms that during the compliance stage an instalment arrangement can be entered into where the judgment creditor has given specific written instructions to the HCEO to accept an arrangement during an extended compliance period (See paragraph 13).
Therefore, no visit of any type is required in order to secure a long term payment arrangement. We have always worked in this way as our longstanding clients can confirm.
