Shelagh Doyle of Court Enforcement Services Shortlisted for a Women in Credit Award
Court Enforcement Services are delighted to announce that Shelagh Doyle, Head of Audit & Compliance, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Women in Credit Awards.
Nominated in the ‘Transformation of the Year – Non-Creditor’ category, we wish Shelagh all the best for the awards, which will take place at The Brewery London on September 21st.
Court Enforcement Services are proud to employ a very high proportion of women across the business. In recent years, we have seen several of our female colleagues rising through the ranks. We support gender diversity in our business and do all that we can to empower our female colleagues to make the most of their careers.
Shelagh joined the business in 2020 to drive forward its customer care function with quite a wide and varied remit. She was subsequently promoted into her current role, where she covers a lot of ground, by taking the lead on audit and compliance across all parts of the organisation.
Drawing on her experience, integrity and understanding of the regulatory landscape, Shelagh fully supports existing audit and compliance initiatives whilst adding her own ideas to drive a fresh approach for sustainable improvement.
Shelagh studied Business Administration, Management and Operations at the University of Hertfordshire and has since progressed to become an experienced Operations Manager and Head of Service. She started her career in financial services as a cashier working for a Building Society and quickly gravitated towards customer care, mediation, and dispute resolution.
In a career spanning more than 20 years, Shelagh has worked with organisations including Lloyds Banking Group, Barclaycard, Co-op Bank, VWFS and the Financial Ombudsman Service and in a variety of settings from being part of the team that went into Northern Rock immediately after the financial crash in 2007 through to large scale redress projects and bespoke investment reviews.
Shelagh commented: “I’m thrilled to be shortlisted for this award, which, not only recognises the success of our transformation project but also because the awards highlight and encourage more debate about gender issues which are important for a thriving credit profession; empowering, connecting, supporting and uncovering the achievements of many inspirational women working in credit.”
The winners of the Women in Credit Awards 2022 will be announced at a glittering ceremony taking place in London in September.
