Court Enforcement Services Announces New Welfare Support Initiative
Court Enforcement Services are delighted to announce a new initiative which will see our welfare team working in collaboration with our award-winning colleagues across our wider Group.
We have long held a commitment to welfare support for potentially vulnerable debtors and this progressive approach will provide the Court Enforcement Services Welfare Team with a greater resilience and the capacity to accelerate a number of initiatives to support vulnerable customers, which includes:
- Creating a link with the Vulnerability Registration Service Register, helping us identify vulnerable customers earlier in the enforcement process
- Provision of specialist training in Mental-Health First-Aid and Suicide Prevention to further enhance our teams knowledge on the potential signs of vulnerability
- Launching video calls with our Welfare Team, removing the anonymity and providing a face-to-face discussion, which many customers find reassuring when discussing their personal circumstances
- Implementing new technology to support our team, including;
– a Speech Analytics system which flags distress/emotions in caller voices
– communication solutions such as live translation services - Implementing IE Hub, an open-banking integrated online tool that enables customers to complete and share financial assessments easily, enabling simplified budgeting and the faster identification of additional benefits/tariffs
