Year in Review: 2024
By Managing Director, Paul Caddy.
2024 has been another positive year for Court Enforcement Services, during which we have maintained consistently high collection rates for our clients, helping us achieve high levels of client satisfaction and continued to grow and develop our management team. I am proud that the team have continued to deliver on our commitment to provide a service that is professional, client focussed and approachable.
The past year has been a busy one on the regulatory front, with the publication of the Enforcement Conduct Boards standards for firms and agents, as well as the introduction of their complaints handling process, which is due to go live from 1st January 2025. I was pleased that CES was able to contribute positively to the development of both the standards and the complaints process.
Whilst the timing of the General Election has rather stalled MoJ’s review of the Taking Control of Goods Regulations, as a business which is led by Authorised High Court Enforcement Officers who are members of the Board of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association, we continue to be well placed to ensure that;
- the interests of our clients and creditors generally are well represented in any reforms;
- we are always at the forefront of industry best practice and contribute to the development of industry standards; and
- our team enforces your Writs in a professional and compliant manner that maximises recovery, whilst protecting your reputation.
I am confident that 2025 will be an exciting and successful year for CES as we continue to add quality recruits to our team and implement a major upgrade to our systems and technology.
As we approach the seasonal break, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our many clients for their continued support and I hope that regardless of religion or beliefs, you enjoy some rest and relaxation and wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy and prosperous 2025.
